Shah Rukh Khan gets death threat: The Bandra Police in Mumbai has registered a case against an unknown person after receiving a threatening call on a police landline number, warning of plans to kill Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. The police have initiated an investigation in collaboration with the Cyber Police Station.

The case has been registered under Sections 308 (4) and 351 (3)(4) of the BNS. The threat to Shah Rukh Khan follows a series of similar threats directed at fellow actor Salman Khan in recent months. Authorities are working to trace the caller and ensure the safety of the actors.
Shah Rukh Khan gets death threat call
Newsloo reported that Shah Rukh Khan received a death threat over a call. The report mentioned that a case has been registered at Bandra Police Station, in Mumbai.
On the other hand, News18 has learned that a resident of Raipur, Chhattisgarh, named Faizan had made the threatening call. Sources added that a Mumbai Police team has gone to Raipur to investigate. The police officials are also investigating whether it was a false call or the call was linked to any of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang members. Times Now also reported that Shah Rukh directly received the threat call.
This threat call came amidst the continuous death threats to Salman Khan from Lawrence Bishnoi Gang.
Previous threat for Shah Rukh Khan
In the 1990s, Shah Rukh Khan received disturbing news from senior police officer Rakesh Maria that Abu Salem was keeping an eye on him. Reportedly, Salem wanted revenge after SRK rejected a film offered by Salem’s producer friend. Swift action was taken, and Khan was immediately surrounded by tight security to ensure his safety.

SRK will be seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s King. The film also stars his daughter Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan.
The film is said to be a high-octane, action-packed drama, where Shah Rukh Khan once again dons an action avatar, starring alongside his daughter Suhana Khan. Abhishek Bachchan played the antagonist in the film.
According to Pinkvilla, Shah Rukh Khan and the team have finalized Eid 2026 as the release date for King. Filming is set to begin in January 2025 in Mumbai.
“The first schedule of King commences in Mumbai in January, followed by a marathon schedule in Europe. The makers have conducted multiple rounds of scouting in Europe to identify fresh locations that will add scale to King. The film stars SRK in the titular role alongside Suhana Khan, Abhay Verma, and Abhishek Bachchan,” revealed a source.
The source also mentioned that the film is expected to be wrapped up by August or September 2025. The team will be traveling between different locations for the shoot.
“The idea is to film the action sequences at real locations as well as in studio setups, creating the perfect blend of realism in the storytelling. The makers aim to introduce a new style of action with Shah Rukh Khan in King, and the superstar is excited to venture into this new territory,” the source added.

Background of Salman Khan-Lawrence Bishnoi Feud
The conflict between Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi dates back to a 1998 incident in which the actor was accused of hunting and killing two blackbucks, a species revered by the Bishnoi community.
This long-standing feud has led to numerous threats against the actor in recent months, including a shooting incident near his residence earlier this year.
