Sidharth Malhotra announces folk thriller Vvan – Force of the Forest
In the clip, a man is seen walking on the road in the middle of a dense forest.
The project will be made under banners of Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, and The Viral Fever (TVF). It will be released on Chhath Puja 2025. In the coming months, Sidharth will also be seen in a project with Janhvi Kapoor. However, an official announcement has not been made yet. He was last seen in Yodha with Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani.
The film will be co-directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra who is also the director of Panchayat and Arunabh Kumar, the founder of TVF.
Reacting to the announcement and motion poster, one social media user wrote, “TVF is involved in this it’s gonna be promising, promo looks interesting as well”.
Another user wrote, “Teaser looks interesting, would wait for the trailer to be released soon”.
A third user reacted, “Oh and this one looks so so diff from the past films of yours, like really so good to see you be a part of fresh & interesting projects like this”.

While no further detail has been revealed about the film, a Bollywood Hungama report claimed that Sara Ali Khan has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Sidharth in the film.
Vvan is expected to go on floors by early 2025 and will release in theatres on the festival of Chhath later that year.
