On September 14, 2024, heavy rains led to severe waterlogging in a railway underpass near NHPC Chowk, transforming it into a dangerous trap for unsuspecting motorists. As Ravi and Sunil attempted to drive through the flooded area, their vehicle became stuck in the rising waters. Eyewitnesses reported that the two men were trapped inside the SUV and frantically called for help as the water level continued to rise.Despite the quick response from local residents who rushed to assist, the situation quickly escalated. The strong current and depth of the water made rescue efforts nearly impossible. Tragically, by the time emergency services arrived, both men had drowned.
