As Nyrraa Banerji joins Bigg Boss 18, she shares how the show has been offered to her earlier as well, but lack of experience held her back from taking it up.
Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 18 premiered on Sunday. The host introduced the audience to the contestants of this season, including Pishachini actress Nyrraa Banerji. Nyrraa, known for her negative roles, has now taken on the Colors reality show to put forward her real personality to the audience. In an exclusive interview with Indianexpress.com, Nyrraa revealed that she was offered Bigg Boss several times over the last 4-5 years. The actress also shared that she met Salman Khan when he was working on Dabangg.
Nyrraa also opened up about her personality. “I am a very compassionate person. I am driven by principles and positivity. I am more on the peace-making side. I will speak my mind, but I am not rude or hurtful. Not expressing certain feelings might be a weakness, but my principles don’t allow me to scream and shout. People’s definition of content is screaming and shouting, but I am against that.”
Talking about Salman Khan, Nyrraa Banerji revealed that this won’t be her first meeting with the superstar. She said, “Salman is my first favorite superstar. I met him a couple of years back when I was shooting my first film and he was shooting for Dabangg. He had come on the sets of my film which was being shot by Priyadarshan. I met him there. So I will remind him about this when we meet at the grand premiere.”
On the work front, Nyrraa has an impressive line-up. “I have a web-series called Checkmate and another Netflix series which will release after I come out. I am not allowed to speak about it, but it’s a very big series. I also have two films releasing.”
On a parting note, Nyrraa Banerji revealed that she cannot stand lies, and no matter how much people underestimate her based on her appearance, she is quite a strong-headed person.
